BR1-1 Bead Remover BR1-1 Bead Remover

The BR1-1 Bead Remover quickly removes the bead from sidewalls that have been separated from a tire with EECO's Sidewall Remover. The machine is semi-automatic, simply:

  1. Place the sidewall over the upper roller
  2. Press the air button.
  3. Remove sidewall and bead

The bead will then be cut from the sidewall at approximately 1 inch from the inside diameter of the bead. When the cut is complete, the button is released and the pieces can be removed. Production matches the sidewall remover at a rate of 6 sidewalls per minute. The blades are standard Extra Heavy Duty Utility Blades">Extra Heavy Duty Utility Blades. Blade life is approximately 400-600 sidewalls per blade. The blades can be changed in a matter of seconds:

  1. Loosen the 2 blade holder thumbscrews.
  2. Slide out the worn blade.
  3. Flip the blade or slide in a replacement.
  4. Re-tighten the 2 blade holder thumbscrews.

The only maintenance required is to regularly lubricate the drive chain and several grease fittings. Most of the common wear parts (sprockets, chain, bearings, etc.) are standard "off the shelf" parts and available locally. All parts are available from EECO.
