The Truck Tire Tread Cutter uses 4 chains of varying size. Like any wear item, they eventually need to be replaced; however, proper maintenance will maximize performance and lifespan.
- The Primary Drive Chain is on the right side when standing in the operator position and connects the to the dual-output gearbox.
- The Reversing Drive Chain is on the left side of the machine when standing in the operator position and also connects to the dual-output gearbox.
- The Cutting Blade Final Drive Chain runs horizontally along the lower jaw of the machine, supplying power directly to the 8" Cutting Blade for T3C5-1'>8" Cutting Blade.
- The Drive Wheel Assembly Chain runs horizontally along the top of the machine and supplies power to the drive wheel assembly, pulling tires into the machine and, subsequently, cutting blade.
Note: Replacement chains do not come with master or half links. They rarely need to be replaced with the rest of the chain so we don't include them unless requested and pass the savings on to our customers.
